Talk by artist Deirdre Nelson at The Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh. Monday 22nd March , 7pm.
Deirdre Nelson a Glasgow-based textile artist will illustrate her artistic journey through textiles and the ways in which her knowledge of textile processes explores wider social history.
She will present recent work and projects as a result of artists residencies in both Scotland and Australia and also give an insight into work explored while on residency at Sirius Arts Center Cobh.
