Michelle Moloney King

BIO:

Michelle Moloney King, Multidisciplinary Artist, from and based in Co Tipperary, Ireland. She has a science undergrad from University of Limerick in 2005, a post-grad in primary teaching from Hibernia College in 2011 and is currently studying Design in Dundalk College. She works in design. Recent group exhibition in Cork School of Music, 126 Gallery and Bishopstown Library.

Michelle’s work is represented in many private collections and was recently acquired by Cork School of Music to be part of their public collection.

About CTN

The Cork Textiles Network, established in 1998, offers support to all who have an interest in textiles. CTN aims to promote exchange with other textile Networks and artists in Ireland and across Europe.  CTN has made significant inroads in bringing fibre art to children both in libraries and in the classroom. Skills are shared between members. CTN organises and promotes leading edge workshops and classes in Cork.

Membership is not restricted to the Cork area. New members are always welcome. Successes include many exhibitions showcased in galleries throughout Cork city. Read more here.
