BIO:
Living in the Wicklow mountains, which are her primary source of inspiration. She moved here from Dublin where she studied and worked as a interior/spatial designer. After studying a certificate in art therapy through CIT, she began exploring embroidery. She was then accepted to become a member of embroidery group: Society of Embroidered Works, S.E.W. She has just finished studying fine art textiles at Crawford Art college, Cork, graduating in November 2022, but looking to continue with her practice and further study. She is identifying a need for a personal connection with the landscape that surrounds us. She began exploring embroidery and how the slow contemplative practice reflects the slow balance and movements within nature.
