Bio: I was born and grew up in the UK. I moved to Youghal in Ireland following the birth of my son in 2000. I took up my artistic studies again in Colaiste Eoin in Youghal. I followed this with further textile focused studies at Colaiste Setfan Naofa in Cork which led me on to MTU Crawford College of Art & Design where I successfully completed a Certificate in Fine Art Textiles Level 8. I have been an active member of the CTN for a number of years primarily heading up a team to co-ordinate the member’s exhibition stand at the Knitting and Stitching show in Dublin. This project ran for several years culminating in a UK tour of the member’s exhibition within the show in 2019. After a break in making and exhibiting during the pandemic I have now shifted my focus to take up an online Certificate course in Hand Embroidery with the Royal School of Needlework…and so the story continues.
